2. Professional details. The owner holds the Spanish degree of Ingeniero Técnico Industrial (Industrial Technical Engineer), specialising in Mechanical Engineering, awarded by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He is a registered member of the Col·legi d'Enginyers Graduats i Enginyers Tècnics Industrials del Garraf i l'Alt Penedès, membership number 27823. His professional practice is governed by Spanish Law 12/1986 of 1 April on the professional competences of technical architects and engineers. It is also governed by the Statutes and Code of Ethics of the profession, available from the Association and on the website of the Spanish General Council of Industrial Technical Engineering (www.cogiti.es).
3. Purpose. This website provides information on the independent technical advisory services of RCA Engineering. Services cannot be contracted online. Any engagement is formalised through a specific proposal accepted in writing by both parties.
4. Intellectual and industrial property. The texts, images, designs and documents on this website are owned by the owner or used with their owners' permission. Their reproduction, distribution or transformation without express authorisation is prohibited, except for personal and private use. Third-party trademarks, trade names and publications mentioned belong to their respective owners.
5. Liability. The information on this website is general in nature and does not constitute professional advice for any specific case. The owner accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of this information without a prior professional engagement, nor for the content of third-party websites reached through links.

2. Data we process. We process the identification and contact details you provide through the contact form or by email, such as your name, your organisation, your email address and the content of your enquiry. If an engagement is agreed, we also process the data needed for the professional relationship and its invoicing.
3. Purposes and legal basis. We process your data to answer your enquiry, on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation); to prepare proposals and manage the professional relationship when you request or contract a service, on the basis of pre-contractual steps and the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b)); and to comply with accounting and tax obligations, on the basis of a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not take automated decisions or create profiles, and we will not send you marketing communications without your express consent.
4. Retention. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for no more than twelve months after the last contact. Data relating to a professional relationship are kept for its duration and afterwards for the periods required by law, including those set by commercial and tax legislation for keeping accounting and tax records.
5. Recipients. We do not disclose your data to third parties except where required by law, for example to the tax authorities. Our website hosting provider, IONOS, may access the data as a data processor under the corresponding contract.
6. International transfers. No transfers of data outside the European Economic Area are planned.
7. Your rights.
